Mike Welsh Mike Welsh is the owner of Photoworks and a long-time amateur photographer. After thirty years in the investment business, he turned his hobby into his work and has provided photographic services to a number of clients. His investment in Photoworks springs from his desire to create a place in Baltimore for photographers and graphic designers' art to flourish. back to top Martha Welsh Martha Welsh is the Business Manager at Photoworks. Her love of photography began when her husband bought her a camera. Martha has traveled extensively on her photographic journey, and chronicles her passion for gardening through the camera's lens. back to top Dave Massey Dave Massey is the Director of Imaging Arts at Photoworks. He is a photographer, animator, web-designer and painter in Baltimore who obtained his B.A. in photography from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dave has received a number of awards for his work, and has exhibited at Gallery 401 and the Marlboro Gallery. He sits on the Board of LINK: A Critical Journal on the Arts in Baltimore and the World. Currently his artwork deals with urban vernacular culture and iconography. back to top Nancy Scheer Nancy Scheer is the Marketing and Sales Associate as well as the Gallery Director of Photoworks. Nancy received her BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. She is a professional calligrapher and fine artist and has extensive exhibition experience, including solo shows at Villa Julie College and Arizona State University. Nancy has been in arts administration in many commercial galleries in both Baltimore and Scottsdale, Arizona, and has assisted other artists in career development skills. back to top Faye Colosi Faye Colosi is the Assistant Director of Imaging Arts at Photoworks. Faye received her BFA in Photography at Buffalo State College in New York. She has experience as an Assistant Video Editor, Production Director, and Instructor for workshops in New York, with a focus in multimedia, film and photography. Faye is a fine art photographer who creates images that question racism, sexism, and ageism in our popular culture. She teaches digital imaging courses at Photoworks. back to top Jaime Kalman Jaime Kalman is a graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida where she studied drama and psychology, as well as black and white photography. Her focus has been in theatre and film, and she is currently a professional actress in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. area. She is currently performing with the Pasadena Theatre Company and is filming an independent feature, The Harvesters. At Photoworks, Jaime assists in customer scheduling, and coordination of workshops and tutorials. back to top Drury Bynum Drury Bynum is an Administrative Assistant at Photoworks. Drury received his BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore and his MFA in Painting from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He has extensive work experience in web design, video production, multimedia and mural painting. back to top Sarah Reed Sarah is a lab technician at Photoworks. She is currently a student at Goucher College in Baltimore, working towards her degree in Photography, Psychology and Philosophy. Sarah has worked in photo processing labs and started at Photoworks as an intern in the summer of 2000. back to top Kira Hammond Kira Hammond is a recent Digital Arts B.A. graduate from Goucher College in Baltimore. Kira loves to work on multimedia projects, currently as a cameraperson for videography. She provided digital lab assistance, as well as working with our video clients.
