Faye Colosi: view her work
Faye Colosi is the Assistant Director of Imaging Arts at Photoworks. Faye received her BFA in Photography at Buffalo State College in New York. She has experience as an Assistant Video Editor, Production Director, and Instructor for workshops in New York, with a focus in multimedia, film and photography. Faye is a fine art photographer who creates images that question racism, sexism, and ageism in our popular culture. She teaches digital imaging courses at Photoworks.

James DuSel: view his work
James DuSel is an instructor at Photoworks in Platinum/Palladium printing. He holds a BA and a MA in Classics from Washington and Lee University and John Hopkins University. DuSel has been photographing since 1964, and has participated in numerous solo and group shows in the past five years, including shows at Maryland Art Place and School 33 Art Center in Baltimore. His works are on permanent display at John Hopkins Hospital's Bayview Campus, Pathology Department. DuSel is represented in Baltimore by C. Grimaldis Gallery.

Joseph Hyde: view his work
Joseph Hyde is a Baltimore-based photographer captivated by the photographic landscape. At Photoworks, he teaches basic and intermediate black and white photography as well as a specialty course on the BIG print. Educated at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Hyde returned to Baltimore in 1983 to establish a base of operations for his photographic expeditions and to live and work as a fine-art photographer. In 1995 and 1996, Joe refined his technical skills under the excellent guidance of John Sexton, an internationally respected photographer and educator of fine printing craft.

Haig Janian: view his work
Haig Janian is a Baltimore-based photographer and fine artist, specializing in photographic imaging as an art form. Educated at the Rutgers University, he has taught at Livingston College at Rutgers as well as the Art Institute of Florence (Italy) and has been a Professor at Towson University since 1970. His personal interests lie in international education and his professional development in fine art, computer graphics and photography.

Faye Levine
Faye Levine is an Instructor at Photoworks in digital imaging. Levine is a BFA graduate from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, with a major in Illustration. Her experience in digital imaging includes work with Siquis, Ltd., in Baltimore and Landscape Structures, Inc. in Delano, MN.

Dave Massey: view his work
Dave Massey is the Director of Imaging Arts at Photoworks. He is a photographer, animator, web-designer and painter in Baltimore who obtained his B.A. in photography from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dave has received a number of awards for his work, and has exhibited at Gallery 401 and the Marlboro Gallery. He sits on the Board of LINK: A Critical Journal on the Arts in Baltimore and the World. Currently his artwork deals with urban vernacular culture and iconography.

Luci Morreale
Luci Morreale is an instructor of Digital Imaging at Photoworks. Morreale is a BFA graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, with a major in Illustration. She works as a Design Assistant at Jeffrey Press in Baltimore, and has experience in Promotion Design.

Julia Nicoll: view her work
Julia Nicoll is a traditional and digital imaging instructor at Photoworks. Nicoll is currently in the MFA degree program in Imaging and Digital Arts at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she received her BFA in Visual and Performing Arts in 1992. She has extensive experience with mentoring, research, and teaching children, and has been involved with many film, video and exhibition projects in the Baltimore area. Currently, Julia is working at the National Archives in Washington, D.C.

Alan Rutberg
Alan Rutberg is an established photographer and instructor in the field of photography. He received his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in Photography and is currently an Assistant Professor of Visual Arts at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Rutberg has also taught at University of California, Berkeley, and has received numerous awards for his film and photography work, most notably from the New York State Arts Council. His work has been exhibited extensively, including exhibitions at Maryland Art Place, School 33 Art Center, UMBC and the Jewish Community Center in Baltimore.

Nancy Scheer: view her work
Nancy Scheer is the Marketing and Sales Associate as well as the Gallery Director of Photoworks. Nancy received her BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. She is a professional calligrapher and fine artist and has extensive exhibition experience, including solo shows at Villa Julie College and Arizona State University. Nancy has been in arts administration in many commercial galleries in both Baltimore and Scottsdale, Arizona, and has assisted other artists in career development skills.
