Image making, photomontage, business collateral design and video editing are just a few of the creative avenues available to you in our digital lab. You can also create or update your professional portfolio or personal photo album on hard copy or CD, to show your work or photographs to their best advantage. Photoworks' digital imaging center offers photographers and graphic designers alike the finest in digital equipment. Along with our scanning and printing equipment, the Photoworks digital media lab includes 9 Macintosh G4 computers, 1 Macintosh G4 scanning station, and 1 Macintosh G4 instructor's station. Large screen projection, professional flatbed and film scanners and an Epson 3000 large format, high resolution inkjet printer are also at your disposal. Photoworks offers traditional photographers the finest in darkroom equipment. Our darkrooms meet and exceed the industry standards in facilities, equipment and design. Our Kreonite color processor, capable of making prints up to 30" x 40" is the only one of its kind in the southwestern United States available to the public. The following are our hourly rates for traditional photographic tutoring: Darkroom Tutoring Fees: * Basic Black and White (undergraduate tutor) $ 50 Intermediate or Advanced Black and White or Color (faculty) $ 60 * Student discounts do not apply to training fees. Photoworks' darkrooms are outfitted with 8 the top-of-the-line, Saunders LPL dichroic enlargers and 2 Saunders LPL condenser enlargers. We also have 4 spacious individual darkrooms with Saunders LPL 4550 XLG dichroic enlargers for prints up to 30" x 40". We provide all of the equipment and chemistry, and you supply your own paper, canned air and a towel. It doesn't get any better than this!
